Born Again
Before telephone navigation, I often carried printed pages and folders with specific directions to my destination when we were traveling out of state. Our phones are now a wonderful navigation tool. They are usually right. They are almost always right. Almost. But if you are wise you wouldn't stake your life on the accuracy of its navigation. You wouldn't want to bet your house. Why? Because ALMOST isn't good enough.
We once rented a vacation house in Tennessee and our phone led us, just as it was getting dark, directly to a dilapidated shack. In truth, it ALMOST led us to the right place. The problem with 'almost' being right is that you are still WRONG. There are even religions that are ALMOST right. They emphasize peace and love and caring for others. Many even claim to be Christians.
But if you ask for directions- if you ask, "How can we make it to God the Father?", or, "How can we make it to heaven?" their answer will not agree with Jesus himself. There is only one pathway- faith alone in Christ alone. You need to quite literally be BORN AGAIN. Make certain that you are on the right path, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
