A Simple Life

Simplicity is one of the keys to enjoying life. Let me give you an example. Let's say that you have a few acres of land and want horses. Aside from the initial cost, the vet bills and farriers, you still need saddles and tack. You'll also need a trailer. Then you'll discover that you need a bigger truck to pull it. Suddenly there is a truck payment and much higher insurance, and we haven't even talked about feeding them through seven months of winter. 

Don't get me wrong, I love horses. If you have time and can afford it, get them! But as with any possessions, make certain that you think things through to the end. God is clear- "A man's ife does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." Sooner or later, you will discover that a simple life is a fulfilling life. Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
