Never Give Up
Back when it was legal for moose hunters to take any bull, good hunters had a distinct advantage. When the state implemented rigid antler restrictions, 'dumb luck' became far more important than skill for those who hunt off the road system. In a typical year I call in several bulls right to me, but in a typical year NONE of them are legal. Last year I passed on 5 bulls. At the same time, many novice hunters simply 'stumble' onto a legal bull. If a person really wants to succeed, the only solution is to KEEP HUNTING.
Sharing our faith in America is like this. When I was in Tanzania, it seemed that everyone wanted to hear about Jesus. I led many people to the Lord every single day. I spent many hours street preaching in Hawaii and in Florida, and didn't have a single person stop for a conversation. What did I do? I started going door-to-door and actually led several people to Christ.
In America, if you want the privilege of leading someone to Christ, you have to KEEP SHARING. KEEP INVITING. Don't allow discouragement to overtake you. Trust me, there are people around you who are ready for a new life. There are people around you whose hearts are tender. There are people around you who desperately need the hope that Jesus brings. God will use you TODAY if you are willing. Never give up, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
