Like the Thief

Life marches on. I know several who, shy of a miracle, will be meeting Jesus soon. I know countless others who will die and go to hell soon- unless... unless... unless like the thief on the cross next to Jesus, they repent and turn to Christ in faith. But how will that happen if you and I are not DOING what God has commanded us to do?

Romans 10:12-15 says, "For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile. The same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for 'Everyone who calls on same of the Lord will be saved.' How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone telling them? And how can they tell them unless they are sent?

As it is written, 'How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!'" As you and I invite others- eager to tell them about the life Christ offers- the Living Word of God goes to work. Will we ever be rejected? Of course! Many times! Christ was perfect and most rejected him. Yet many, not a few- many- WILL COME! Allow God to use YOU, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
