A Very Long Day

Our mission team from south Georgia arrived last night. They stood by the luggage carousel until everyone was gone but them- no baggage. The service counter informed them that all of their bags were put on a different plane that would be landing in Anchorage shortly. It simply made a very long day a little longer. By the time we got them to the church it was nearly 4 AM Georgia time.

Sometimes our logistics simply don't go smoothly. Sometimes life is unnecessarily complicated by things that are outside of our own control. When I'm at my best (and I'm not always there) I take a deep breath and say, "Thank you, Lord. Show me how I can serve you through this."

God tells us that he "will work all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose." Well, YOU love him and YOU'RE called... so? He is certain to work some good out of those trying circumstances... IF YOU ARE WILLING. Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
