Makes A Difference
I had an interesting experience when buying a battery for my 1981 GMC 1 ton crew cab pickup. The cashier asked me, "What color is it?" On the passenger side the rear quarter panel is brown, the back door is yellow, the front door is blue, the front quarter panel is black, and the hood is red. Tell me, if five different people were passionately arguing over what color their new trucks should be, would they all be happy if this was delivered to them? No! They'd all be upset.
Some churches make this mistake. By trying to be a 'fit' for everyone, they end up not being a fit for anyone. At The Crossing, we are highly RELATIONAL. We share life! We are unapologetically SCRIPTURAL. The Bible- the Word of God- is our standard. We are intensely PRACTICAL. Literally hundreds of our people serve in ministry. And we are passionately WORSHIPFUL. We lift our voices, our hearts and our hands. And what are we NOT? We are not cold, formal, and religious.
We believe that relationships, the Word of God, serving others and passionate worship are intended to positively impact our daily lives. In other words, MONDAY should be BETTER because I gathered with others for worship on Sunday. Friend, make sure that you are in a church that absolutely holds to Christ's teaching, and make sure that it's a church that makes a difference in our world.
