Live On Mission

Marriage is simple... IF...IF...if TWO people are utterly committed to Christ. No, it's not always easy, but it's simple. In other words, it isn't complicated. When both husband and wife are utterly committed to Christ, then he is also committed to being a provider, a protector and a tender leader of his wife and children. She is also committed to running a neat and orderly home, to supporting and respecting her husband, to loving and caring for her children, and to sharing in whatever ways she is able in providing for the family.

Both are committed to tithing and giving generously to their local church, to serving in their church and community circle, to reading and studying the Word of God, and to prayer. This does not shield us from heartache, pain or the problems that are common to mankind, but it does offer the most peaceful, joyful and stress-free life that is possible this side of heaven. 

For those of you who are longing for a spouse, don't simply pray- become excellent in your role. Ladies become excellent at managing your household, at cooking, at laundry. Men and women focus on your health and fitness. Men, become an excellent provider. Get the training you need for a good career. Put some money in the bank. Build or purchase a home if you are able. And both of you? Press into Jesus. Share him in your world. Point others to Christ. LIVE ON MISSION, and God WILL bless you! -Pastor Brad
