Look To Jesus
Another glorious morning. We can pretend that the weather doesn't matter, but it does. We know that sunshine is a gift because in a perfect world, at creation and all the way to the days of Noah, the sun was shining every day. But it wasn't Arizona desert sun. God watered the earth every day with morning dew and with springs bubbling up out of the ground. And what do we receive from the sun? Heat and light to be sure, but much more than that. Our food comes from the sun and the wood we use to build our homes.
Virtually everything in this life is dependent upon the sun. God tells us that in heaven there will be no sun because HE will be the source of LIGHT, the source of LIFE, the source of LOVE, the source of EVERYTHING we need. The sun gives temporary life, and for that we are thankful. The SON gives eternal life. Don't miss the magnitude of this gift. HE is the Light of the World. Look to Jesus, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
