Be A Witness

Alaska is a land of extremes. When I was younger I made many trips every summer down to the Russian River after working all day. It took several hours to get there so I would begin fishing a little before 10 PM, catch that day's limit, and then after midnight, catch the next day's limit and be back at work by 6 AM. We give time and energy to what we love, don't we?

Like so many men, hunting and fishing consumed my free time. I still love to hunt and fish, but I'm no longer consumed by them. I'd much rather point people to Jesus. Even when I go hunting and fishing I am taking advantage of opportunities to witness. I thank God for days on the river or in the mountains. The wild places still make my heart sing.

Habakkuk said, "I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. Yahweh, my Lord, is my strength. He makes my feet like those of a deer and enables me to walk on mountain heights." Enjoy this precious life God has given you, but be a witness! Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
