Life Giving Water
After three spectacular days, it's raining again. Water is life-giving. It's essential. There's nothing quite so peaceful as being next to a clear, trickling brook on a warm, sunny day. But water can also be dangerous, violent, contaminated- leading to death rather than to life. The Word of God is pure Living Water. It is both life-giving and life-sustaining. But if it is contaminated by false doctrine, that corruption can as easily lead to death.
Mormon's name for themselves begins, "The Church of Jesus Christ..." But they teach that Jesus was just a man who BECAME a God by doing good works, and that every faithful Mormon man will also become a God with his own planet to rule. Others who claim to be Christians teach that you only get to heaven if THEIR priest baptizes you.
Others teach that everyone goes to heaven no matter what kind of life you lead. In a very real sense, they have added poison to the water. Don't drink it! Find a church that stands firmly upon the Word of God- the Life-Giving Water- and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
