With All Your Heart
God says in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." There are many things in life that are worth 'finding.' At this very moment millions of people are seeking a good job, seeking a person to share life with, seeking the best medical care... and now... for the first time in many decades... an unprecedented number of young people are SEEKING a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
And get this- they are seeking with their heart- their passion- their soul. What's happening? God is true to his promise. They are FINDING him. But remember this- seeking and finding are not a one time thing. Many things can separate us from God- sin, apathy, busyness... He is only a step away, but finding requires your heart.
He is your FATHER, you are his child. Children don't restore a relationship with their father by chanting rituals or giving him money. They must draw near with their heart- with their love- with their affection. Seek him today and every day- with all your heart- and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
