Rejoicing

I slept in my own bed last night. It was a combination of things. Descending from 2 strenuous climbs, my son's knee crippled up so badly that he could barely limp out of the woods. Between that, no moose and a broken down machine, our plans changed. At this point in my life, I've learned not to stress about these kinds of things. Those things that won't matter for eternity are little more than interesting trivia.

The things that mattered? In the early morning dark at hunting camp I worked on my sermon and spent time in prayer. I met another hunter and had a spiritual conversation and invited him to church. I read several chapters of Scripture aloud to the men at camp and we had great conversation about what God was saying to us. Above all, I am thankful. More than thankful- I am rejoicing in God my Savior. Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
