Reset Your Thinking
Rained all day yesterday and harder all night- still raining. This makes excavator work tricky for an amateur. Clay soil quickly turns to mud, and I was stuck twice yesterday. I have a great deal that I want to get done today, but at this point in my walk with Jesus I've learned not to stress over unwanted delays.
True, my patience is still tested at times when I'm driving, but I most often recognize the test, exhale, and use the time to pray or give thanks to God. When life interrupts your plans, it is good to remember that God not only knows and understands, but also that he has RIGHT STEPS for you to take in the middle of your trial.
The Apostle Paul did not expect to be arrested. After all, he had committed no crime. Yet his years in prison were filled with valuable ministry that included writing letters that continue to point people to Christ today. Friends, when your plans are interrupted, reset your thinking and have a beautiful day! Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
