Peace Joy Purpose Fulfillment

By keeping our destination in sight, we made it safely across the glacier. We achieved our goal but found ourselves utterly disappointed. It wasn't what we expected. We were on the wrong side of a raging torrent of water. After all of that misery and hard work, we expected things to be easy. We were hopeful that things would be perfect. At the very least, we expected things to be a lot better.

This is the experience of so many who set their eyes on the wrong goals in life. After years (often decades) of longing, preparation and hard work, people finally have the spouse, the children, the cars, the house, the income... and yet wind up empty. Many of you can relate to this. You hit what you were aiming for, but you were aiming for the wrong things.

Jesus is unwilling to hold ANY position in your life other than FIRST. He is unwilling for you to put him on a shelf and then bring him out and dust him off on Sundays. But... if you will allow him to BE your life, He will add peace and joy and purpose and fulfillment. Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
