Be A Worker In God's Kingdom
Let me ask- how hard are you willing to WORK for what you WANT? The answer really rests upon how badly you want something. I once packed out a whole dall sheep and my camp nearly 9 miles. I was motivated. Because I REALLY WANTED to get a sheep, I was willing to sacrifice- to suffer- do a tremendous amount of work.
But to want something in theory (daydreaming) and to want something in reality (pursuing) are very different things. In theory, every true Christian WANTS a holy life. In theory, we WANT to be more like Jesus. But let me ask, are you PURSUING a holy life? Do you want it so badly that you can almost taste it?
Do you want to be poured out for the sake of God's glory? Do you want to be used by Him to bring others to salvation? Your pursuit of a holy life can begin right now. Tell God what you want. Ask for his help. Commit to rejecting sin and obeying the Spirit. Be a WORKER in God's kingdom, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
