Serve Give Go

I saw 2 photographs yesterday- one of Laura's dad when he was 3 or 4 years old, and another of her mom and dad when they just started dating. We live in the present. God is not constrained by time. When he looks at you, he sees that little girl who loved to twirl, that little boy who dressed up like a cowboy. He sees you as you were learning to read and to write. He remembers every accomplishment- every moment of laughter- every time your eyes sparkled with delight.

When we say that God LOVES us, we sometimes forget his deep and personal AFFECTION for us. At times he is undoubtedly a little wistful. As a loving Father he wants to see us developing our unique gifts and talents, and then using them to magnify our love for him and for others. Don't be bashful. Serve, give, go. Zephania says of God, "He will take great delight in you. He will rejoice over you with singing." Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
