God Sees Everything
When I got back home with my cinnamon colored black bear I immediately grabbed my bow and went into the mountains to hunt from my stand. In over 3 weeks nothing had come in, but I remained hopeful. As I drew near I was shocked to discover someone up my tree and in my stand. This stand was hidden and far off trail. I could not imagine anyone 'stumbling' upon it. Then my shock increased. It was one of the guys who had betrayed me.
That's right- the guy who told me I was not allowed to hunt in HIS stand was at this moment in MY stand. He said something about a 3 legged bear coming in the night before. I simply told him to get out of my stand and added, "Don't come back." You see, the 3 of us had gone into the mountains with heavy packs and set up 3 stands- each one over a mile apart. The tree stand that we used at each location was randomly chosen, because our agreement was that if bears came into any of the stands, we would take turns hunting.
But when bears immediately came into both of their stands, they told me that I was not allowed to hunt in them. THIS is the guy who was in my stand. He had heard from someone that I was out of town and had decided to sneak in and hunt my stand when I was gone. Some people, in combination with a lack of integrity and moral character, have a tremendous amount of nerve.
I think of the entire group of leaders who have lied about our President in a treasonous conspiracy for years. They continue to lie even after they've been caught. Why? For the same reason that hunter was in my stand- because they think they will get away with it. Tragically, they are uninterested in the fact that God SEES EVERYTHING and that we will ALL face JUDGEMENT.
Galatians 6:7 says, "Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." There is no such thing as 'not getting caught.' There is only 'not yet facing judgement.'
