Come To Jesus
I followed the bear into the heavy brush- bow in one hand and an arrow in the other. There was no blood. Again and again I circled, but there was no sign of any kind. Finally, I went back to my tree. I thought, "Where would I have run if I was a bear?" The answer was the exact opposite of where I had seen him run. It was up a narrow draw into the mountains.
As a last resort I decided to simply walk up the draw. In less than a minute, I came upon my bear. My arrow had been perfectly placed, and I had my first bear with a bow and arrow. The interesting thing was that I found him in the exact opposite place of where I thought he would be. This is similar to the spiritual experience of many.
People are longing for something to fill the emptiness in their souls. Popularity won't do it. Money won't do it. Success won't do it. Wild living won't do it. For many people, the very last place they're willing to look- is Jesus. He is the exact opposite of their imagined solutions to their deepest hunger. Yet he IS the Way. He IS the Truth. He IS the Life. Come to Jesus, and you will be blessed. -Pastor Brad
