Live By Faith
Yesterday I spent much of my day sawing wood with a hand saw and moving deadfalls in temperatures that were well below 0°. The strong winds the past 2 weeks (70 - 100 mph) blew over many trees across my trails. When I finally reached my cabin, the largest tree of all had fallen perfectly in such a way as to completely block my access. But there was a big difference- at my cabin I had to chainsaw. My biggest obstacle BY FAR became manageable because I was properly equipped.
We face many obstacles in life, many barriers to our plans, many challenges to overcome, many trials to get through. We are surrounded by much beauty, and yet we live in a lost and broken world. It's essential that we be properly equipped in our minds and hearts. As a child of God, you've already WON the GREAT battle. To be properly equipped for the challenge you face is simply a matter of FAITH.
1 John 5:4 says, "For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world- even OUR FAITH." Don't be afraid, don't be discouraged. LIVE BY FAITH and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
