Answer The Call
Coming home from the airport at 3 AM I received a toll free call. The caller was not identified, so, of course, I didn't answer the call. Who calls at 3 o'clock in the morning? I figured that if it was something important, they would leave a message. Well.... I DID have a message. The call was from the airline to let me know that we had forgotten one piece of luggage. IF I had known who was calling- IF I had known that I was missing something valuable- I would have answered the call.
This is such a clear picture of the overwhelming number of people who live around us. Jesus is calling them. He has been calling them from infancy. If they knew it was Jesus calling, if they knew that they were missing something of great value, they would rush to answer!
The mission of every Christian boy and girl, of every Christian teenager, of every Christian man or woman, is to make Jesus known! Lost? HE is THE WAY. Confused? He is THE TRUTH. Disappointed or discouraged? He is THE LIFE. Come to Jesus. Answer the call, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
