A Joy Filled Life
The temperature at my house hovers around −20°. I feel like I've been cold for weeks. When it's this cold, everything seems to get harder. Cars don't want to start, fingers freeze against the cold steering wheel, on the gas pump, and even the on car door getting in and out. But... life must go on. We all have places to go and things to do.
We cannot allow life's little inconveniences to disrupt our peace or get in the way of our joy. You see, when we start making excuses for not living a full life, that's like a snowball running downhill. It just gets bigger and faster until your life is completely out of control.
The Word of God tells us, "Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." In a race, you don't get to choose the weather, you don't get to choose the condition of the track, and you don't get to choose the behavior of your opponents. What you CAN do is run to the very best of your ability! So- in spite of your circumstances, choose to live a joy filled life, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
