Enjoy The Journey

I was by myself- deep in the mountains- hoping to find a moose. Well, that's not exactly accurate. I hunt hard and I ALWAYS find moose. I was trying to find a LEGAL bull. For those of us who are stuck hunting off the road system, this is the area where skill and hard work play a minimal role. You see, we can only shoot a spike/fork or a bull with an antler spread greater than 50 inches. So- I was in deep intending to glass a valley where I'd often seen moose.

I only had 2 days, and when I got to my destination, the clouds settled right to the ground. I couldn't see anything. I had a decision to make. Do I stay and hope the clouds lift or do I move to a new area and hope for different conditions? So often in life we face decisions that are not moral- there is no right or wrong- but we must do SOMETHING. In times like these, don't stress. If your heart and motives are right, seek wise counsel.

Perhaps a friend has been down that road before. If not, simply make a decision. God promises to GUIDE and to GUARD his children. He does this through His Word, through other people, and through circumstances. Don't allow fear to paralyze you. Don't allow indecision to BECOME your decision. Life is an adventure, and a big part of any adventure is NOT KNOWING. Learn to enjoy the journey, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
