Nothing To Fear

If I'd have had a few more days to hunt, I would have waited for the clouds to lift. With less than two days, I decided to break down the camp I'd just set up and move to lower elevations. Eventually I got beneath the clouds, but this put me in very mediocre country for hunting. But given the dense fog up high, mediocre was better than the place I'd come from. If we waited for circumstances to be perfect we'd never get married, never have children, never get a degree- life would simply pass us by.
The same God who reminded us that "In this world you will have trouble," also reminded us that we "can do all things through him who gives us strength." Life will be filled not only with challenges and difficulties, but also with new strength for each day. To 'conquer' each day is a good thing, but our lives are even better- "We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus our Lord."
Friends, at times life will be hard. It will be frustrating, irritating, even excruciating. But listen- OUR TEAM WINS! Your victory has already been won! A follower of Christ has nothing to fear, nothing to lose, and everything to gain! Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
