Choose Wisely

The place where my ram died was far too steep for me to cape it and bone it out. At the very least I needed a flat spot where I could lay a small tarp down to set my meat on to keep it clean. There was a sheep trail a short distance beneath me, so I dragged the ram down to a better spot. I didn't have a camera, and Tim and Larry Hand had the heavy video camera we had packed in. I still had no idea where they were, but I knew that this was the RIGHT path.

This high Dall sheep trail traversed near vertical shale and rock and wound all the way back around the front of the mountain to where I had set down my heavy pack. I was thankful that the week before my friend had pointed me to this path and led me on it. I KNEW where I was and I KNEW where I was going. You see, in life if you don't KNOW the right path, most often you will not even know when you are on the WRONG path. How do you know which direction to take in life? How can you be confident you're headed in the right direction?

Simple. Jesus said, "I AM THE WAY," and he said, "FOLLOW ME." Following Jesus is the RIGHT path, not following Jesus is the WRONG path. Yet most of the world around us says, "I'm fine. I don't need Jesus." The Bible talks about them when God said, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." One path LEADS to LIFE. One path LEADS to DEATH. Choose wisely, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
