Share Your Faith
Tim and Larry Hand also had a great story. When they got up that morning and saw that the 7 rams we intended to stalk were gone, they decided to head up the valley. After I shot my ram, the other 7 headed deeper into the mountains. They didn't hear my shot, couldn't find me anywhere, but eventually came upon those same rams. They were experienced sheep hunters and between them had killed many rams.
They decided not to shoot the 1 of 7 that was legal because they wanted me to get it. This was extremely generous. At this point Larry had walked in over 25 miles with a his pack, and Tim had walked over 10. Well... I didn't show up. A gift that included a great deal of sacrifice was offered, but it wasn't received. This is the story of Jesus Christ and much of the world. I once counted 14 churches when I drove from our church to Walmart.
In America, most people pass Christian churches every single day... and yet never go in. Most homes have a Bible containing the gospel of Christ... yet most people never read it. Jesus offers salvation purchased at a great price... yet most never receive it. And how are we, as Christians, to respond? Keep loving, keep sharing, keep inviting, keep witnessing. Some WILL respond. Some WILL receive the gift of New Life. Actively, intentionally share your faith, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
