Walk That High Way

When I finally climbed out of the tundra and into the gray rock, the mountain became steeper. The climb, still grueling, was less difficult. As I continued to gain elevation, my heart began to soar. This, battling through brush and tundra and vertical climbs to the very top of my small part of the world, is an experience that very few ever earn. The most surprising lesson that I learned is how much easier it is to cover great distances when walking on top of the mountain as opposed to the valley floor.

Not only that, but I could see down the back side of the mountain and the whole front of the range behind it. My actual view of the world was incredibly expanded. There is also a HIGH way to walk through this life. It's God's way. Isaiah 35:8 says, "And a highway will be there, it will be called the Way of Holiness. It will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it. Wicked fools will not go about on it." Is holiness important to you? Is it an ongoing life goal?

If so, you walk above the crowd. You see things that others cannot see. You know things that others don't yet (and may never) know. This is the place where the radiance of God's glory always shines on you. Walk that HIGH way, and you will be blessed! -pastor Brad
