One thing about our incessantly difficult weather is that most of us TREASURE a beautiful day. I spent 5 hours with two friends this week drinking in the sunshine. From our 0° start to the day, the temperature by mid-afternoon had risen more than 20 degrees. The trail in was both difficult and unpleasant, but we eventually broke into open country with deep powder. We prayed together and openly thanked God many times.
Describing something beautiful to another person is a good thing, but EXPERIENCING something beautiful with other people is a GREAT thing. It is easy to miss the profound truth God gave us in Ecclesiastes 4:9 when he said, "Two are BETTER than one." That's GOD talking. We are BETTER together. Why not go through the contacts on your phone and invite someone to go out for coffee or lunch? Share life, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
