Go Fish

I've never been passionate about ice fishing. This is because I froze my toes to the point of tears every time I ever went as a child and never once to my memory did we catch a fish. I might enjoy it more nowadays, because I see these beautiful shelters with satellite dishes out on the ice. In fact, some are actual campers. I could see myself watching a football game and cheering for my favorite team, thereby making not catching fish much more enjoyable.

The disciples knew what it was to go fishing and not catch anything. Once after an entire night of fishing without a single fish, Jesus told them to put out to deeper water and cast their nets. When they did, they caught so many fish that their nets began to break, and they filled two boats to the point of almost sinking.

Then Jesus said, "Come, follow me, and you will catch men." You see, the point of fishing is catching. As they went forth proclaiming Christ as Savior, many men, women, and children were literally captured and set free by the power of the gospel. Go fish! Share your faith and you WILL make a difference in this world. Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
