Be A Worker
I grew up in Minnesota and then lived in Montana before the army sent me to Alaska. One of the questions I get from my friends outside this time of year is, "Have you been catching any fish?" It's inconceivable to them that in late April we don't have open water. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." From the moment Christ ascended to heaven until the moment that he returns, we are in a season of harvest.
This is THE time to point people to Christ. This is OUR time. When the commercial salmon season opens in Bristol Bay, the boats literally crowd the waters and set nets line the beaches. Why? Because the fish MUST be caught and can ONLY be caught during the season. There truly is a season for every activity under the heavens.
For Christians, this is the season of harvest, and Jesus tells us that the harvest is overwhelmingly abundant. He simply needs workers. Invite someone to church today. Call or message friends to let them know you are praying for them. Be a worker in God's harvest field, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
