Choose Well And Forgive Quickly
People are always wondering what is the secret to a good marriage. First, I would tell you this- CHOOSE WELL. Ladies, the man who loves God FIRST will love you BEST. Choose a godly man who is gentle and kind, who loves children, and who is committed to being a good provider. Men, the woman who loves God FIRST will love YOU best. Choose a woman who is generous and kind, who loves children, and who takes pleasure in the thought of managing a home. My second bit of advice is this- FORGIVE QUICKLY. Pride punishes, love forgives.
Finally, don't spend your energy seeking the perfect spouse. Spend it BECOMING the kind of man or woman who will BE an excellent spouse. It's true that there are no guarantees. It's true that those who choose well are sometimes abandoned.
