Invest In Your Relationship

Relationships are the fabric of life and shared experiences are the threads woven into that fabric. We were created to be in relationship first with God and then with one another. God is our Father, Savior, Counselor, Redeemer, Protector, Strengthener, and Provider. These are not simply words, they are reality. Every Christian on earth is quite literally our brother or our sister. We're not a 'religion,' we are a FAMILY.
What made that caribou hunt with my dad so memorable is that WE WERE TOGETHER. But here's the thing- shared experience requires SACRIFICE. It requires TIME and EFFORT and often (at least for Alaskans) a significant amount of money! We can all be miserly and self-centered and alone, or we can INVEST in relationships.
Christians nearing death often have two regrets: 1) I wish I had done more for the Lord; and, 2) I wish I had spent more time with the people I love. NO ONE says, "I wish I had made more money;" or, "I wish I had spent more time by myself." Invest in your relationship with God and with others, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
