Laugh Well

According to studies, the average four-year-old laughs 400 times a day. The average 40-year-old laughs only 4 times a day. The medical benefits of laughter are profound. Laughter strengthens your immune system, it diminishes pain, decreases blood pressure, regulates heart rhythm, and lessens depression, anxiety and stress. What happened to our laughter? Most  respond with something like: "Life beat it out of me," or, "I'm too busy to laugh." It isn't true.

You may be too self-focused to laugh. You may be too self-absorbed to laugh. Carrying stress and worry is a CHOICE. Having a positive mental attitude is a CHOICE. Perhaps you need to do a websearch for Christian comedians twice a day, just so that you can laugh for 5 or 10 minutes. You will notice the positive change immediately.

Laughter is a GIFT from God. I love hearing my wife and adult children laugh. They all have a wonderful sense of humor. REST in the Lord. TRUST in the Lord. Laugh well, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
