Giving Thanks To God

You haven't really lived until you've sat in a tree until midnight covered with mosquitoes. Okay, just kidding. Even so, I have done that many times- a few of those with one of my kids. Some people are natural born 'still' hunters. They thoroughly enjoy the experience of being in a stand or sitting out in the wilderness with their binoculars. For me, sitting still is torture. I've always been that way. It's what got me into lots of trouble in school. We are all wired differently. Some people are simply made to move. Others are made to be those solid, unshakable anchors that everyone leans on. Most fall somewhere in-between.

What God desires is that we would make the most of who we are- our gifts- our talents- our likes and dislikes. Colossians 3:17 says, "And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Be blessed! -Pastor BradSon David and I spending the evening in a tree.
