Seek Him
The world in front of me was almost entirely without color. Of course there was black and various shades of white and gray, but no blue sky, no green plants, no flowers, no sun. It was barren and lifeless. The Gulkana Glacier's moraine became more and more desolate as I continued to climb. Sometimes life feels that way, doesn't it? Our circumstances seem gray and dull- lifeless.
But as I looked closely, I saw tiny flowers growing hidden among the rocks. From the standpoint of 'color' the big picture was bleak, but peering intently changed my perception. There were tiny patches of color tucked away all around me. When life gets hard, this is the way that we are to examine God's Word. This is how we are to seek HIM out.
James 1:25 says, "But whoever LOOKS INTENTLY into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues in it, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it- he will
be blessed in what he does." Even when you don't see it or feel it, life and color and beauty are all around you. Seek HIM in the gray times, and you will be blessed! -Pastor BradWritten on July 30, 2026
