Fearfully And Wonderfully Made

When I say that the great strength of a woman lies in her femininity, I do not mean to equate her feminine nature with being afraid of hard labor or getting her hands dirty. Actually the contrary is true. My daughters are as comfortable in the wilderness wearing a backpack as they are in a city wearing a dress. When I took the two of them caribou hunting north of the Arctic Circle, I was proud of their toughness and adventuresome spirits. I also thoroughly enjoyed all of the added conversation and laughter that are a natural part of a hunting trip with girls.
The feminist movement (which is blatantly anti-feminine) teaches women to focus their lives on pleasing themselves. As a group, it would be hard to find women who are more angry, bitter or disappointed in life. A feminine woman finds joy in serving others, and quickly discovers along the way that she has countless opportunities to do things that also please herself. Ladies you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Embrace what it means to be 'woman' created in the image of God, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
