Be Christ's Ambassador

Being alone in the wilderness is something very few people ever experience. And yet... there is something about the wilderness that has always drawn me. As a young man I was out continuously. My life largely consisted of packing, going, unpacking, and dreaming of going again. As I have grown closer to the Lord my priorities have changed. I still love the wilderness, but I go much less often. Why? Because people are more important to me. Because Christ has called me to tell the world about his love- to point every person to his or her need for Christ's forgiveness and salvation.

2 Corinthians 5:20 says to every Christian, "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us- we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God!" I still love the wild places and am thankful for the time God gives me there. I am somehow refreshed and restored in spite of an experience that is nearly always physically punishing. Yet even in those places, I long to tell someone about Jesus. BE Christ's Ambassador, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
