Let It Shine
The other night near Talkeetna at 2 a.m. we had an unusual sky. No visible stars, complete blackness and an amazing, bright moon. Just a single light shining in the darkness. This is the way the Bible describes Christ. John 1 begins, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made. Without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men.
THE LIGHT SHINES IN THE DARKNESS, and the darkness has not understood it." The light shining was so bright that I could see the dark shadows of giant spruce trees clearly on the ground. THAT light- the light of Christ- is IN every Christian. LET IT SHINE!! Be a joyful, loving, bold witness for Christ, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
