Invest

While food, clothing, and shelter (even money) are life's necessities, the richness of life is found only in RELATIONSHIPS. We were created to LOVE and BE LOVED. People who sacrifice relationships on the altars of fame, talent, adventure or wealth always wind up empty. The Reverend Billy Graham once spoke about meeting with one of the world's wealthiest men on an island paradise.

The man spoke of having a yacht, airplanes and helicopters, of being able to go anywhere and do anything he wanted, and then said, "But I am the most miserable man on this island." He had all the money in the world and yet never learned that the key to a happy, fulfilling life is to love Jesus and love others.

If you only love others (and NOT Jesus), you may well find a degree of richness in THIS life, but you will wind up empty at the end. Invest- put time and energy- into your relationship with God and with others, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
