Get Off The Trail
To truly see nature- to truly experience the wild places- you need to get out of your comfort zone. Roads and trails are great for getting places quickly. They are great for getting a general view of the country. But you miss a great deal more than you actually see. In some respects always staying on familiar ground is like walking in a deep rut. Walking in a rut is safe. It's familiar.
You don't have to worry about getting lost. But you miss 99% of what is going on in the world, the adventure of the unexpected. Every time that you decide to share your faith- to invite another person to church- you are stepping out of the rut and into life's adventure. Don't fall into the trap of a self-centered life. Get off the trail! Get out of your comfort zone, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
