Choose

Time passes swiftly. I remember laying on the ground... groaning... very conscious of the fact that I might not survive... calling out to Jesus. I was never afraid- not even for a moment. After all, death has no element of fear for those who walk with Christ. I was by myself... 44 miles into the mountains... miles away from the nearest trail... no cell reception... no hope of rescue. In the middle of extreme pain and suffering, I thought that day would never end. 

Trust me, it passed quickly. Time always does. Today you have the opportunity to hug a child, to make a phone call to express your love, to lend a helping hand, to give a word encouragement, to pour out the love of Jesus... but those opportunities- TODAY'S opportunities- WILL NOT LAST. They will pass QUICKLY. Make it your goal to BREATHE LIFE into every person you meet today. CHOOSE to be joyful. CHOOSE to be an encourager. CHOOSE to help others. CHOOSE to be thankful.
