Turn Around

I'd never seen anything like it. The narrow ridgeline, often almost razor thin, suddenly stopped as though the mountain had simply split open. There was perhaps a 3 foot gap, and then the ridge began again. Even carrying a pack and rifle, with a little momentum I had no doubt that I could leap across it. But I was sheep hunting. I knew there was NO way I could come back across that precarious gap with a dall sheep on my back. It was a wrong step. I was tempted, but I turned around and went the other way.

We all face those situations, don't we? It's risky... exciting... tempting... but it's a wrong step. So often the consequences of that one step are life-altering. At times they are life ENDING. The solution? Don't go there. Turn around. Think about the possible consequences. Your enemy, the devil, wants to destroy you. Rebuke him in Jesus' name. One wrong step has shattered many lives. God said, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." Choose your steps wisely, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
