Prepare For The Harvest
The temperature has finally dropped below freezing again. Everything that was wet is now frozen, but 'dry ice' is much better for driving than 'wet ice.' After breaking October's record for snowfall, we've now broken all-time records for 'lack' of snow.
In some ways it reminds me of God's created order for the harvest. At harvest time, you reap an abundance. But then there is month after month of toil and waiting and praying without gathering in anything at all. The greatest part of any year for a farmer is spent, not harvesting, but PREPARING for the harvest.
Notice that the farmer isn't simply waiting- he's preparing. Just like that farmer, if you are in one of life's dry seasons, PREPARE for the HARVEST. Work, learn, plant seed, pray... get ready. The key is not simply waiting, it is found in what you DO while you wait. So get out there! The world is waiting for YOU! If you prepare, your harvest WILL come! Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
