Ask & Listen to God
I can't really explain it. It took a lot of preparation and a whole day to get to where I wanted to start hunting. I was deep in the mountains in a place I've gone for years. I was uneasy as I set up my tent. This was strange for me as I am accustomed to being in the wilderness by myself. A little over an hour before dark, a sense of foreboding almost overwhelmed me. For some reason I knew that I had to get out of there. I loaded up and made it out just ahead of torrential rain and flash flooding. At the very least, I would have been trapped for nearly a week.
God protects those who walk closely with him. In fact, Christian men and women who are actively serving the Lord are indestructible until God is finished with his purpose for their lives. We are to be wise, for sure. We are to use the brains God gave us. But we need not live in fear. God's eyes are always upon his children. Do you walk so closely with God that you can hear his voice? You can! Still your mind. Ask AND listen, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
