Love Everyone Well

God gave me great responsibilities this weekend. He was trusting me with the souls of many unbelievers and with the leading of many others who know him. This is a sacred trust. It's not to be taken lightly. It's not a 'job' or a 'task' or a 'career'- it's life itself. We're talking about the eternity of children created in the image of God.

I spoke at the funeral of my good friend, whose sudden death shocked us all. His love for others was such a picture of Christ. Why do I say that? Because SO MANY in the crowd at his funeral were NOT followers of Christ. In fact, a number of them were OPENLY OPPOSED to Christ, and yet they LOVED my friend because my friend LOVED THEM.

How about you, Christian? Do you genuinely love the lost people that God places in your life? Can you love them and laugh with them and share a part of your life with them- simply because you love Jesus and want to see those dear people come to him? What a shining example for all of us. Jesus said, "If you only love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even the unbelievers do that." Make it your goal to love EVERYONE well, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
