Do Something Good
There is no shortage of evil in the world, but remember this- there is also no shortage of the OVERCOMING of it.
1 John 4:4 "He who is in us is GREATER than he who is in the world." What does this mean in a practical sense? Because our FREEDOM has been purchased by the blood of Christ, the devil can no longer lay any claim on you or me. In the face of every temptation, of every attack, of every wrong thought, we have the power to rebuke Satan and stand in victory.
Romans 12:21 "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."How do you overcome evil? With GOOD. We are surrounded by people desperately in need of a Savior. Some are children or women who need a safe home. Other men and women need freedom from addiction and help getting off the street. We need Christian neighbors and coaches and teachers and local politicians. We need Sunday School teachers and Bible study leaders and youth workers. Why? To overcome evil with good. This is OUR time. This is OUR opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. Do something GOOD for someone today, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
