Praise Him Through All

As a boy, virtually everything I loved involved a ball. Baseball, kickball, dodgeball and football were often included multiple times in the same week. Countless games of 'horse' were played on the basketball hoop my dad planted in the middle of the grass in our back yard. I wasn't born with a ball in my hand, but as you can see, I started early. Kicking, throwing and catching seemed to come as naturally to me as breathing. Some things we are just naturally good at.

My granddaughter, Harper, could throw and catch a Frisbee halfway across the yard when she was 5 years old. I taught a third grader who authored and illustrated her own picture book, and it was so amazing that I would have loved to have kept it. Some people sing or play an instrument as though they were designed for it. Others are excellent speakers or writers. Some understand all things mechanical, while still others simply have the gift of laughter. 

You have been uniquely created in the image of God. Whatever skills, talent, giftings or possessions you have, they are all meant to be used for God's glory. Praise Him through ALL that he has given you, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
