Pray & Prepare For Opportunities

Just a quick flash of color- gone in an instant- but it told me two things: first, it was a grizzly and not a black bear; and, second, it was coming my way. Soon I could hear it breathing and was seeing continual flashes of color through the brush. I still had no idea if I would be fortunate enough to get a clear shot, but I eased my rifle to my shoulder and put my finger on the trigger. 

I knew that my opportunity (if it came) could easily last less than one second. I had to be ready BEFORE it came. This is also true when it comes to our spiritual opportunities. If you pray, "Lord, bring me someone to invite to church," before you get out of your car at the grocery store, I will give you my guarantee that HE WILL! When you PRAY for opportunities, you PREPARE for opportunities. It only makes sense- the most effective soldiers are those who are prepared for the battle. PRAY for opportunities- PREPARE for opportunities- and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
