Easter
Celebrated in over 150 nations, this is the day that we celebrate the most important event in human history- the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The man who claimed to have come from heaven to rescue humanity from the penalty of our sins is the same man who was put to death on a cross- killed publicly- at the hands of Jewish leaders and the Roman government. For three years he taught like no one else and performed many public miracles. He was placed in the tomb Friday, was still in the tomb Saturday, was still there early Sunday morning, and then... just as he had told his disciples beforehand... He rose from the dead.
Over the next 40 days in Israel appearing to at a minimum over 500 people. Christ died according to the Scriptures. On the 3rd day He rose from the dead according to the Scriptures. He will return for those who belong to him according to the Scriptures. He is risen! Be blessed! -Pastor Brad
