Join God In His Work
May 5 and the last little snow patch in my yard will be gone today. Soon the trees will be budding and the grass will start turning green. Spring is a very short season in Central Alaska. The days have been getting longer since last December, and will be getting shorter again in less than 6 weeks.
This is the cycle of life in the far North. But here's the deal- new life ALWAYS comes. ALWAYS. I saw a black bear with a tiny cub last night. Soon the moose will be dropping their calves. At lower elevations flowers are bursting forth from the ground. New life is why I'm here. I never chose Alaska, but I believe that God chose ME for Alaska.
In my years here I've seen. God bring NEW LIFE- adopt NEW sons and daughters- thousands of times! To be a small part of what God is doing in a remote corner of the world is worth living for! Join God in his work, and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
