Attitude Of Gratitude
Mmmm. Morning again. What did I say about travel? Sixteen to twenty hours one way? We're 28 hours and counting. If all goes well, about four more should do it. But- I shared Jesus with a server from Mexico, with a couple on their way to Kona for vacation., and with a man standing in line next to me. I shared my testimony and the gospel with a gold miner on his way home to Nevada, and got to know a girl from China on a work trip to California. I told her a little about Brother Yun (one of my heroes from China) and asked her to read 'The Heavenly Man.'
I met 2 young men- recent immigrants from Ethiopia- and sat down at a table with them to hear their stories. I shared the gospel and gave them tracts. I met a couple from Vietnam, now living in the US. They waited in line for 13 year before they could immigrate. I gave them a tract and invited them to Alaska. I read 2 Corinthians 13 and took notes for a sermon, and I was completely blown away by the Book of Hebrews (again).
On top of all of that, I've been stuck with my favorite person in the world- my wife, Laura. Two canceled flights, a lost (and paid for).hotel reservation, a lost (and paid for) car reservation, 3 nights in a row with less than a total of 8 hours sleep, but somehow, it's been a really good trip. Develop an attitude of gratitude. Look for opportunities when life seems a little hectic., and you will be blessed! -Pastor Brad
